Tuneo, also known as "Guitar and Violin Tuner," is a highly precise instrument tuner designed for a wide range of instruments including guitar, violin, bass, ukulele, viola, cello, banjo, and shamisen. Professionals value its accuracy, while beginners find it easy to swiftly tune their instruments properly. The application features a user-friendly interface that combines a chromatic tuner and a strobe tuner on one screen, allowing for the most precise tuning achievable. The chromatic tuner accurately detects the frequency of the tone played on your instrument and displays it on the chromatic scale. The target pitches are highlighted on the scale, showcasing how much the tone is out of tune. As you get closer to the correct pitch, you can utilize the strobe tuner for fine-tuning adjustments. The strobe tuner assists in achieving exceptional accuracy. The pattern moves to the right if the tone is too high, indicating the need to tune down. Conversely, if it moves to the left, tuning up is required. The slower the pattern moves, the better your instrument is tuned. If you require assistance in using the tuner, there is a built-in help section that provides guidance and examples of the tuning process. The strobe tuner employs an independent algorithm distinct from the chromatic tuner. While the chromatic tuner utilizes Fast Fourier Transformation, the strobe tuner's algorithm closely resembles those found in oscilloscopes and is computed directly on your phone or tablet's GPU. In addition, you can use the tuner to tune by ear. The buttons at the bottom of the screen play synthesized reference tones according to your preferred concert pitch, enabling you to tune accordingly.
